Yinzer Nation came together yesterday, making hundreds of phone calls to legislators from Southwestern Pennsylvania in support of public education. We asked our representatives to reverse the devastating budget cuts of the past two years and to find a sustainable and equitable way to fund our schools. These calls are working!
And they’re getting noticed. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette had an article on our participation in the state-wide call-in day and then ran a terrific follow-up piece in the afternoon Pittsburgh Press. In case you stayed inside to make your calls yesterday, here’s a fun video of Yinzer Nation on the phone (feel free to share this widely and encourage your networks to keep calling their legislators!).
Do you mind if I quote a couple of your posts as long as I provide credit and sources back to
your website? My website is in the very same area of interest as yours and
my visitors would certainly benefit from a lot of the information you provide here.
Please let me know if this ok with you. Thanks!
Of course. We are delighted to share (with attribution). Thanks!
